At Keki’s Guinea Pig and Rabbit Rescue, we are passionate about guinea pigs and rabbits and dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming — and in some cases, lifelong sanctuary care.
Whether an animal arrives needing urgent support, ongoing medical treatment, or simply a second chance, we are here to give them the compassion and stability they deserve.
We are a non-profit rescue (CIC 16165553) based in Basingstoke, offering rescue, rehoming, boarding and sanctuary services across Hampshire, Berkshire, Kent, and Surrey.

At Keki’s Guinea Pig Rescue, we strive to make the adoption process as smooth and transparent as possible. Here’s a summary of our step-by-step guide to help you understand how our adoption and rescue process works:
Explore the available guinea pigs and rabbits on our adoption pages to find the perfect companion. Please check our requirements for suitable accommodation – which are included in the adoption profile of all our pets.
Fill out our online adoption form or contact our team directly. Please provide details about your home, experience, and confirm that you have read our accommodation requirements.
A member of our team will review your application and respond within 24–48 hours to discuss next steps and provide any advice if needed.
A member of our team will arrange a home visit to check accommodation and answer any questions. There is a one-off, non-refundable fee of £10 for the home visit.
Once your home check is successfully completed, a reservation fee of £15 per animal is required. This will be deducted from the final adoption fee.
We will arrange a meeting with your chosen guinea pig or rabbit, either at the rescue or at the foster home. This allows you to see their personality and ensure a good match.
If you are happy to proceed, your new furry friend can come home once the final adoption fee is paid.
We provide advice and guidance for the lifetime of your pet. Our team is always available to answer questions and provide support after adoption.
Adopting a guinea pig or rabbit from us is a rewarding experience that brings joy to both you and your new furry friend.
