Step-by-Step Adoption Guide

1. Browse Our Animals

Explore the available guinea pigs and rabbits on our adoption pages to find the perfect companion.

2. Complete an Adoption Enquiry

Fill out our online adoption form or contact our team directly. Please provide details about your home, experience, and confirm that you have read our accommodation requirements.

3. Application Review & Discussion

A member of our team will review your application and respond within 24–48 hours to discuss next steps and provide any advice if needed.

If there is a specific guinea pig or rabbit you are interested in, we will confirm if they are still available. If not, we can suggest another animal that may be a suitable match.

4. Home Visit

A member of our team will arrange a home visit to check accommodation and answer any questions. This ensures a safe and suitable environment for your new pet.

There is a one-off, non-refundable fee of £10 for the home visit.

5. Reserve Your New Pet

Once your home check is successfully completed, a reservation fee of £15 per animal is required. This will be deducted from the final adoption fee.

6. Meet Your New Pet

We will arrange a meeting with your chosen guinea pig or rabbit, either at the rescue or at the foster home. This allows you to see their personality and ensure a good match.

7. Adoption & Bonding Support

If you are happy to proceed, your new furry friend can come home once the final adoption fee is paid.

If you are adopting more than one animal or a bonded pair, our bonding services can help ensure a smooth introduction.

8. Ongoing Support

We provide advice and guidance for the lifetime of your pet. Our team is always available to answer questions and provide support after adoption.
