Sir Newton is 4 years old and, because of a digestive complaint – pseudo ileus, he was unable to travel with his owners who relocated overseas. Due to his medical needs, Sir Newton and his brother will now be permanent members of our sanctuary.

Meet Shaggy who lives here in our rescue with his little brother Scooby. As you can see from his picture, his name suits him perfectly! Hope came into the rescue with a hama bead stuck on her tooth. This required urgent surgery to remove her teeth but, a few months on, she is recovering well and is now eating on her own. Hope will now be a permanent resident in our Sanctuary who, with the right care, will continue to thrive.
